There are people who know how to squeeze every bit of joy and adventure out of life, and the award winning actress / artist / singer / filmmaker / dancer / Melora Hardin perfectly fits that description. That she also happens to be wildly talented in a thousand different ways, (her Emmy nomination for her unforgettable turn in “Transparent” is just one bit of evidence of her skill and devotion to her craft) AND a grounded, warm hearted, kind soul, is also a well known fact in Hollywood.

When I think about her adoring fan base—which runs deep and wide— and how they greet her with such bright-eyed enthusiasm, the fact that she’s enjoyed a long and fruitful career all makes sense. Life is complicated and intense, so the joy folks get when they take in one of Melora’s tv, film, or Broadway performances, (like the cult favorite “The Office,” for which she brilliantly played Jan) can sometimes be the most powerful, positive emotion they’ll experience on particularly challenging day. A skilled and nuanced performance lifts spirits and inspires, and reminds people that there’s light in the world, even when they’re grappling with the tough stuff.

@MeloradHardin career as an actress took off when she was a child, starring as the lead in the series, “Thunder,” for ABC. So, professionalism, and hard work are the bedrock of her modus operandi.
