Do you sometimes find yourself saying I CAN’T” today or I won’t do it today I’ll do it tomorrow”. Or I’ll start on Monday ..🤪
Gemmas ethos is that you just have to do the things you are telling yourself that you can’t do!
Because, most of the time, the things we say we can’t do…WE CAN🙌🏻
Even if it’s baby steps
I now ask myself daily:
What CAN I do right now or today..
I’m focussing on waking up really early before the rest of my family are up and moving my body ..with just 20-30 minutes of exercises , strength training or Pilates.
Then ..
* Instead of doing 10k steps, can I do 8k steps?
* Instead of drinking 2l of water, can I drink 1 glass with each meal?
* Instead of working out 6 times a week, can I make sure that I’m doing something that feels good for my body and mind and that I enjoy every day like I’m doing by 20 -30 minutes of exercise , walk or bike ride ..
Remember baby steps to positive change and healthier habits that work for you
Instead of focusing on what you CAN’T do…
Focus on what you CAN do.
Of course there are going to be times when things are out of our control , with kids , work ,family or you feel unwell and we also need to give ourselves a break 🙏🏻
So Instead of CAN’T use CAN even if it’s the smallest positive step to a healthier mindset and lifestyle
