I don’t want to sound preachy but here’s a mini piece of my mind for you.
It’s fascinating to know the drastic difference between the way we look and feel about ourselves and the way others around us do. We’re most often, too easily disappointed in ourselves and don’t give enough credit, but a mere smile of ours is enough to make another’s day! No?
This particular shoot was an impromptu request from 2 wonderful women I’d never met before, and happened to bump into, on an island on vacation! I requested to get ready and look my best but instead they denied saying they wanted to capture my rawest, most authentic self cause they
thought I was charming and beautiful in my own skin and and that’s what caught their attention! We’ll, I’d be honest , I still am ignorant to not realise this and Aren’t most of us this way? We only trust the beauty and potential we truly possess when we receive the validation from somebody else.
Can we maybe embrace the imperfections as much as the perfections? Be a little less harsh and be more accepting ? A little less doubting and a little more trusting ✨ and eventually wouldn’t we all be in a better place ? And Oh! It’s such a wonderful place to be 💫❤️
