It was an exceptional honour to be asked by the John Lennon Estate to perform this rendition for John’s new album, Mind Games. I did not know him but we were both Woolton kids, we grew up in the same village and both loved to campaign for change! I feel like as a fellow scouser we would have gotten along.
I miss Artists like Lennon, they rocked the boat, they marched the streets, they went on strike, power to the people I say, we need more creatives who make music and care about how the world works! ❤️👏💯
