Richa Gangopadhyay Instagram – As I turn 38 today, I find myself overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible year of growth that has led me here.
I often felt like a “late bloomer” in life. My passions and core values didn’t start forming until my late 20s, when I had a chance to “fly on my own” as I ventured into an atypical career path and explored relationships that taught me about myself and the world outside my little bubble.
My 30s have been a time of self-discovery, growth, and embracing all the unique aspects of who I am. This past year was pivotal, as I’ve had to face my demons, have hard conversations, set firmer boundaries, and let go of what hasn’t been serving me. Each revelation, challenge, and moment of growth has taught me invaluable lessons that have emboldened me with wisdom and confidence as I step into my next chapter.
I’m blessed beyond words to have a partner who loves me unconditionally, keeps me accountable, believes in me and is committed to evolving together. To have a career that fulfills me on so many levels and be surrounded by people that give me inspiration and push me to be my best. To have a little boy who keeps my childlike wonder alive, keeps me grounded and brings so much purpose and joy to my life.
This past year, I’m proud to have built a community in Oregon – a support system that makes me feel safe and valued, and is just made up of amazing humans all-around.
Going into 38, I aspire to:
– Stay consistent with the goals I set for myself
– Release unhealthy attachments
– Spend time with the people that make me feel safe
– Focus on what I can control
– Set and honor boundaries
– Be more accepting of change and embrace self-care, down to my physical and mental health
– Love myself exactly as I am
Here’s to another year of embracing life’s journey, with all its ups and downs, and continuing to grow, learn, and build meaningful connections, and learning to love myself more so I can be an example for my son!
