Veronika Mindal Instagram – Downtown LA: a city full of contrasts. It surrounded by towering skyscrapers and million-dollar houses, yet just steps away are countless homeless people. I used to think Moscow was the ultimate city of contrasts, but now I see that LA has its own unique mix.
When someone asked me what I love about this city, it took me a while to answer. Of course, the freedom, creative people, financial opportunities, and the amazing weather stand out, but beyond that, the lifestyle and culture feel very different from what I’ve experienced in Europe. Yet, there’s something about this place that keeps me here.
