Anne-Krystel Goyer Instagram – I want to share a story about failure that I heard some time ago. A woman named Sara explained that her dad would ask her and her siblings every day: “Where did you fail today?” This encouraged them to discuss their failures openly. Instead of feeling bad, they would laugh and talk about what they learned or try to find a positive aspect of the situation. Interestingly, most parents or people typically ask, “Where did you succeed?” rather than focusing on failure, don’t you think?
Viewing failure from a different perspective, or taking it less seriously, is a powerful mindset. Failing is a normal part of life. The real mistake lies in stiking to our failures, feeling ashamed, or allowing them to define who we are.
We can’t win all the time. However, when we experience loss or failure, changing our feelings about it can transform everything. Instead of shame, we can choose to have faith in ourselves.
I know we have all felt frustration or deep disappointment at some point due to failure. But here’s the truth: everyone fails. In fact, the most talented people you admire failed more times than you can imagine before achieving greatness. Even they continue to experience failures from time to time.
So, remember: every failure brings you closer to success. Embrace it. Laugh about it. Use failure as fuel to keep going, and move forward!
