▶️Testing up to 4 articles costs ₹ 200
▶️For 5 or more articles, the charges are ₹ 45 per article.
▶️Testing can be done only at BIS recognized Assaying and Hallmarking Centres (AHCs).
▶️ If there’s a purity discrepancy, you can claim compensation double the amount of difference, calculated on the basis of shortage of purity for the weight of such article sold and the testing charges, under Rule 49 of BIS Rules, 2018.
