Those were Saoirse Ronan’s words on the Graham Norton Show this week, when she made headlines for interjecting in a conversation about self-defence and highlighting the issue of women’s safety.

@itsanitarani was joined by Ash Sarkar @ayocaesar and psychologist Dr @elainekasket to discuss.
Ash told us that she thinks women carry an additional psychological burden, but standing up for and supporting one another can be ‘a profound act of solidarity’ that could help change society ‘for the better’ .
