Bessie Carter Instagram – What a year. Amongst the madness and sadness in the world… there is always some light. This year has been an absolute rollercoaster, some real highs and some lows. (These pics are mostly highs I will say 💅🏼)
I’ve said hello to wonderful new faces and goodbye to some (and to some beloved animals too 💔). It has been full of beauty and of pain and that is life.
I am forever grateful to the people I meet who encourage me to always by myself, who honour honesty, who take accountability for themselves and do the work to show up as better humans, who make me LAUGH and who inspire me to be creative, active and kind. There is always a choice – to be kind and to be open and amongst grief and loss this year there has been total growth and love too. I am so grateful for that.
Have a healthy and happy Christmas (to those that celebrate) and perhaps do something for someone who has a little less than you this year.
Now shut up and go and get another mince pie you soppy thing 🌚
