Busy Philipps Instagram – i don’t know. put on some fancy dresses. throw a party last minute or go to a party or stay home or go out to dinner but remember to be around people who love you and who get it. don’t waste time on people who don’t. drink a perfect martini. go to the dog park or take a walk. look at the moon by yourself and be cold and sad. make a rad vase in pottery and put flowers in it. hug your kids and your friends and your dogs and your cats. hug other peoples dogs. stay healthy even when everyone else gets sick. find the messages and take pictures to remind yourself. listen to the best music. cry on the street, who cares? wear red lipstick. wear big hats. go eat fancy pot pie. go dance it off. turn the page. turn it again. one more time. write a new story. write a better ending. or maybe fuck it just write a new beginning. realize that it’s never going to be anything other than what it is right now and be grateful for that because even if it feels impossible and you end up on the floor sobbing, you do know that at some point, you won’t be. remember that it’s all a wave- like the ocean not a beauty queen. remember that it’s all you get. remember how lucky you are to get any of it.
