June-Dec 2024 in june i turned 45, i went to my hometown to register voters, birdie came home❤️. july was weird- a heart appeared on the palm of my hand- it’s like a callous almost, which makes sense and i loved this poem. In August, bird turned 16 at the happiest place on earth and the hearts started reappearing outside of my hand🖤 In September @benlross and i were muppets at @rachelantonoff , @stephenathome and his wife Evie and I attempted a selfie with two thousand people, and @charlottetilbury made @mslesliebibb and me look like this for the @clooneyfoundationforjustice event. October was good news for BusyThis Week, some travel with the Reproductive Freedom Bus and @kamalaharris, hanging out with icons at Billie Eilish, my favorite nyt caption ever and i was given an honor by the @nyclu @aclu_nationwide which was wild and a really beautiful night. November was really tough- but i saw this weird thing spray painted on the ground after i had fallen walking and i became convinced that @kellyoxford figured out time travel. also i got a new tattoo. In February, the @csiriano show was 🔥 plus marc and i sold a bunch of the shit we had from being married with @curethrift and it was weirdly fun🤷♀️ In March, i gave the keynote at the @acluofil yearly fundraiser and THEN! the premiere of Season 3 of Girls5Eva on @Netflix was literally the greatest thing ever to happen! In April, we saw @oliviarodrigo and Birdie wore my @betseyjohnson dress from 1996 and it was iconic; i wore one of my favorite dresses to the @cityharvestnyc gala and we kept doing press for Girls5eva and we all looked real cute doing it and held each other’s hands like we never wanted to let go because we didn’t/don’t. In May, BusyThisWeek on @qvchsnplus got a times square billboard and we started really making shows and it was so fun and also i got to be on ACTUAL @qvc which was surreal and hilarious! and then. and then. AND THEN @oprah OPRAH WINFREY HERSELF asked me to come sit down and talk with her and i only said fuck ONE TIME! And finally in May- one of my best friends @surefineokay married the love of her life and i got to give them a toast at the wedding and honestly? i think i did a really great job. That goes for all of it, tbh.
