The scammers sent a suspicious link on WhatsApp. Thankfully, she was smart enough not to click on it and came straight to me. I knew it was a scam so quickly redialed the number and recorded the call.
The scammer was trying to trick her into making a payment, and they were also pressuring her to download an APK file. If you download that file, it can hack your phone and steal your information.
Please, share this video with your loved ones, especially your parents, to make sure they don’t fall for this. Be careful with any suspicious links or requests, and always verify before you take any action.
