Many of you might not know, but a large portion of my ethnicity is being an Apache American Indian. Bringing my medicine hand drum, crafted by the indigenous tribes of New Mexico where we originate from into my sets isn’t just music—it’s a profound connection to my heritage and the lands I perform on.
My drum isn’t just an instrument; it’s a bridge across cultures, a nod to the elders for protection, and a celebration of the living spirit of the earth. Integrating it into my sets is for unity and respect that transcend borders.
