Diana Nyad Instagram – I’m excited to get into the Paris Paralympics, which kick off with Opening Ceremonies today. One stupendous athlete I’ve come to know and admire is swimmer Morgan Stickney. As an able-bodied teenager, Morgan was nationally ranked in the 1500 meter freestyle. Due to complicated medical issues, she has now undergone amputations of both legs and needs to spend a week or more every month in the hospital. Morgan is a bright light of optimism. And she’s a powerful force in the pool, holding several world records.
Her races are on 8/31, 9/2, and 9/4. And you can find full coverage of the Paralympics on all the NBC affiliates where you watched the Paris Games. USA Network and streaming on Peacock. GO MORGAN
