Dusted off this shirt & Frankie b jeans from the 90’s—they’ve seen some stories. Christmas prep, 2025 projects, and gratitude for the journey—feels like the perfect time to bring a little nostalgia back. Swipe to see me rocking them in the 90s! ✨🎄 Makeup @moidariandarling Hair by @gypsystrampsnthieves

In 2013 I sent my sister a cheap drugstore fruitcake for Christmas as a joke. The following Christmas I opened a gift she sent me and it was that very same fruitcake. She had kept it in her freezer for a year and sent it right back to me. We’ve been sending this same fruitcake back and forth to each other every Christmas since. I just got it back again. It’s 11 years old now.

I’m thankful for you and I love you ❤️
Remember these? Just a few of the hundred or so magazine covers I’ve done. Blonde days! Should I do some now as a brunette? 🤔

I’m super clumsy so I spilled food on this dress later, but here’s while I was still clean. Like it?
Too soon?
Take a good look at this man. He saved and protected the lives of hundreds of army soldiers during the Vietnam war and returned them all home safely to their families. A land mine went off beside him, ripping a chunk out of his leg and permanently damaged the hearing in his right ear. They gave him the Purple Heart and that ended his second Tour of Duty leading troops in Vietnam. He was there, on foot, for two years. After risking his life to serve his country, he returned home wounded and traumatized. But rather than being welcomed home and treated as heroes with honor and euphoric celebrations around the country, he and the rest of the US troops were met with scorn and condemnation, literally spat on, and felt abandoned by their own government. This man saved the lives of countless American soldiers. He even saved the lives of some North Vietnamese soldiers who he caught the South Vietnamese Army trying to torture, and took the time to explain to them why it’s not okay to torture anyone, even in war. He also forbade them from killing them. This man is a war hero. He deserved to be welcomed home. This man is my dad. Happy Veteran’s Day, Dad. You’re my hero. Welcome home. #vietnamwarveteran #veteransday #vietnamwarvet #vietnamwarphotos
