Eloise van Oranje Instagram – An ode to @eloisevanoranje
Exactly one year ago, we met each other for the first time in person. It was at the Harper’s Bazaar event, where we both received a Women of the Year award. That night, we instantly connected, diving into conversations about sustainable fashion, recycling, upcycling, and your inspiring initiative, @mylimalimaco, which was then on the verge of launching. And now, here we are, with you walking in my show at Amsterdam Fashion Week.
During the fitting at the atelier, we both knew instantly that this was the look made just for you, constructed from deadstock Celine material, rich with historical references. I’ll admit, you had a moment of hesitation and laughter during the fitting, but that was all about you trying on the 5-finger shoes, but even that turned out to be a perfect fit for you!
