Emmy Rossum Instagram – Milky Way was running out of time. He was on the at-risk list for euthanasia at the shelter for months, getting more stressed out and anxious every day.😔 He ended up there after his former owners surrendered him due to him being aggressive in the homeunhandleable. We thought that he needed another chance, and luckily we were able to pull him from the shelter right before his time was up.

And it turned out that he was just misunderstood.

Our main goal at the Brooklyn Cat Cafe is to help NYC’s most vulnerable cats — cats like Milky Way who aren’t able to show their true selves in a stressful shelter environment. While previously named Morris, our friend @emmy renamed him Milky Way as he’s the sweetest guy in the galaxy.🌌
