OHMAHGOSH GUUYYYYYYSSSS!!!! THANK YOU @thebbtas and everyone who voted! 🥹 I am utterly delighted and deeply humbled and honoured to be the recipient of this award. Gutted I couldn’t be there in person to receive it, in a room full of supportive and celebratory brothers and sisters who all deserve their flowers for continually thriving and surviving and working hard in an industry that can be hard work, in more ways than one. Spaces like the @thebbtas are important to remind us that both our triumphs and tribulations are not necessarily unique to us – we are a community and we can both lean on and continually raise each other up. I see awards as keys, and if they fit in a lock and open a door, we must dutifully use that key to then take that door off its hinges, to ensure it stays open for all of us and all of those coming up after us. As the African proverb goes : “Alone we may go faster but together we can go further”. What a wonderful night and opportunity to revel in each other successes. Blessings.✨
