Hilarie Burton Instagram – I JUST got this in the mail right before I had to travel for work, and so naturally I dumped the book I was reading (which is NOT something I do lightly!) and I’m diving right in to my friend @angelaslatter ‘s newest book #THECRIMSONROAD 🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸
I strongly encourage you to give Angela a follow and go to her website to see all that this genius woman has to offer. She has won damn near every award there is… A Shirley Jackson award, a World Fantasy Award, a British Fantasy Award, and a whole heap of Aurealis awards, just to name a few.
We had a funny moment a couple weeks ago, where she asked me if I had any interest in some of her teaching materials. How in the world could she have possibly known that just the day before I was mapping out my newest writing project and kind of stumped as to what to do next? I absolutely needed her guidance and like magic, there she was!
With a writer like Angela, it’s kind of hard to know where to start as a new reader…so I am going to suggest the Sourdough Series because I feel like you can read those books in any order – they relate to each other but exist as fantastical stories on their own.
I’m also gonna suggest Briar Book Of The Dead because it’s a book about bad ass women and I feel like a lot of us need those stories right now.
Do me a favor for the holidays and pre-order this newest book so that it makes all the best seller lists. And get ready for some dark femme energy. That’s what I’m taking into 2025!
Angela, you’re a goddess. Thank you for making my travels brighter. Xoxox | Posted on 13/Dec/2024 06:33:49
