Jana Kramer Instagram – Warrior comes out TOMORROW, but I wanted to share a bit more about the song and the masterminds behind it. Writing songs has always been a personal and vulnerable experience for me. The reason I wanted to sing and do music was because music has always helped me in the times when I needed it the most and I wanted to be able to give that back. So, throughout the years I’ve always sang and wrote songs I related to and many of them I would hope that it would help others with whatever they were going through too. For the last few years I’ve been lucky enough to have one of my best friends and soul sisters @sara_brice in the writing room with me. When I met Allan, I knew I wanted to write him a wedding song. I wanted to, in a way say thank you, but also “I will always be there by your side fighting for us”. I knew having my girl Sara in the room with such a personal song for me would help bring the song alive since she knows me all too well, and Allan now too. She brought in the talented Aubrey Toone @aubreytooneofficial who brought such beauty and grace to the song. I remember when we finished, I cried because It was everything I wanted to say to Allan. Then it was time to bring the song to life. Because again Sara has been such a huge piece of this next chapter of life and music with me, she played the song for her husband @leebrice , who then played it for @jrodfromoz . I’ve been a fan of Lee Brice and Jerrod Niemann for years, so to have Sara, Lee, AND Jerrod producing my new single was a “pinch me moment”. Their creative geniuses and vision brought the most important song to me to life and I hope you all know you are all your own warrior!!!
