At the forefront it’s about Women In Science – “dreaming big” & having the balls to say, “F You” – politely – by “balls” ⚽️ ⚽️ think bigger & higher up 😜

Death, Loss, Sexism & Abuse is in the mixture 🖤
But the negative(s) – despite being hard to stomach – do not overpower the positives.
Bonnie Garmus (absolute genius!) has sprinkled so much humanity into this bake 🥧 that the finished product is nothing short of a masterpiece. It might be my favourite book 📖 yes – like – ever…
There’s a storyline around the “entertainment business” & “marketing” too 📺 🎭
Elizabeth Zott isn’t a real person but I’d love to be her friend if she was. She’s a gifted Chemist and a new Mum – with a traumatic past who also happens to be an exceptional chef 👩🍳 & lands her own TV show;
What ever the producer(s) have in mind Zott has a tendency to do the opposite!
Ultimately, Zott inspires housewives to release their FULL potential with a whopping injection of confidence & self esteem;
SPOILER ALERT one of the wives in her audience becomes a heart ❤️ surgeon… highly encouraged by Zott who says well, why not?
Set in the sixties it’s funny, daring & unconventional with lots of other people & complex characters glittered ✨ throughout.
The chemistry is embedded in the cooking & a beautiful love story as much as in the laboratory 🥼🧪🔬🧬💙
