Jill Marie Jones Instagram – It was around lunchtime at a lunch spot in LA. We were both waiting for who we were meeting. I went back and forth… should I??? …then I shot my shot to Mr. James Earl Jones.
JMJ: “Mr. Jones, I’m sorry to interrupt you… but if I could ask you one question, I would greatly appreciate it.”
Mr. Jones: “Ok.”
JMJ: “As a young actor… what would be your advice for me?”
Mr. Jones: “Read the script often… and know everyone’s lines. Not because you have to… but because you should. And, find the love story in every character you play… even when they seem unlovable.”
I was only gifted with his presence once in my life.
This ICONIC human, didn’t know me from Eve… but those words have traveled with me throughout my creative lifetime.
