From the bottom of my heart: thank you 💫🫶🏼 That opening clip was the first time I ever wore the leader’s jersey, and I was still so unaware of the path that I was about to take. Somehow that moment turned into the most incredible 13 years & a career I am so proud of .. and what a journey it has been! My people are my world—and it’s my family, my coaches, my best friends (that have turned into family), my teammates, and all of you who have supported me so tremendously, that have made this chapter of life the one that has filled me up the most ✨❤️ It was hard for me to find the right way to share my retirement & the words that could capture the entirety of how much this has all meant to me, but I knew I could ask @hebercannon & @marstonsawyers to assist me put my feelings into a visual & what an incredible ride down memory lane that was! This video says it all. As this chapter of my life comes to a close, I can’t help but look back with a happy heart & an immense amount of gratitude. Still thinking about this little one who absolutely stole my heart today 🥹💖 Her big eyes, the music, the dancing, the joy—it’s impossible to put into words how special this moment was!!! There’s something so grounding about seeing life through someone else’s eyes, especially here in this beautiful local village in Botswana. Makes you pause and reflect on what really matters. SO HAPPY to be training consistantly again 😭☀️ & soaking in the last of these summer rays! .. with SPF of course 😏 Went for a 4 mile run with Koda this morning 🐾🐺🩶 Then this afternoon did 6x600m on the assault runner with 2:00 rest between. Felt like I was running at descent speed today & got a descent volume! AHHHHHH WOW THANKFUL to be moving & sweating in sun ❤️🫶🏼☀️
