This year, among the stellar honorees recognized for their talents and accomplishments was my friend @busbykat. In her role as President of Original Programming at Starz she is a towering champion of our stories (just see pic #2), and she’s been about that work of creating space for us for her whole career. Everyone in the room yesterday got to experience the warm and uplifting spirit that makes her so special; her passion and joy transformed the space! Busby, I am so grateful I got to witness you receiving the flowers you so richly deserve. Love you, Queen!

Kelly McCreary Instagram – #TBT to an amazing day at the @blogher #blogher20 Health Summit on Saturday. Moderated by @bonnie_fuller, I joined @laurenelizabethash @ryanmichelleb @jadepettyjohn_official and @rachellynnmatthews in a discussion on a number of health issues facing women, that storytelling and celebrity platforms have the much-needed ability to shed light upon. We only touched the tip of the iceberg on some incredibly important topics, including PCOS, fibroids, eating disorders, the post-pregnancy “bounce back,” and natural hair, but judging from the feedback from women in the audience who had some experience with AT LEAST one of the topics, I’d guess that many conversations continued beyond our panel. Thank you #blogher20 for the opportunity to help get the conversation started!
