Seasons of Flowers This piece is hands down the most time consuming I have ever painted, as well as by far the largest watercolor painting I have made! I was inspired by the style and complexity of nihonga paintings I’ve seen while living in Japan. In this piece I wanted to depict the changing of seasons by different species of flowers in bloom.
