I was supposed to do a beautiful fancy book launch party in New York City — which, let’s be honest, would have been wonderful. But ultimately I wanted to celebrate THIS book in THIS home — the space that it was about — among incredible neighbors and long time friends and my family — in jeans and a sweatshirt. And it was perfect.
And let me tell you, martinis on a Monday turns out to be a great idea! (I only wish I had more of my Sewickley friends numbers to invite you all! Guess I’m gonna need to have another Monday party!!)
