Di luoghi d’arte, a Milano, ce ne sono parecchi. Come sfondo alla nostra conversazione con Levante, però, serviva qualcosa di vivo e artigianale, uno spazio di lavoro che richiamasse al passato e alla bellezza classica ma che lo facesse da qualcosa che si può toccare, che ti finisce sulle scarpe e sui vestiti camminandoci attraverso. There are plenty of places of art in Milan, but for our conversation with Levante, we needed something alive and handcrafted—a workspace that evoked the past and classical beauty, yet in a way you could touch, that ends up on your shoes and clothes as you walk through it. Just like Levante’s art, which expands beyond music to explore other fields, from painting to poetry, and finds fulfillment in her new paper-based adventure, Opera Quotidiana.
