This is the second time we’ve worked together and the way she shows up is truly remarkable to watch… and photograph. As an ongoing project, I wanted to give women the opportunity to transform into what I imagined as “modern day witches” and to use music (this shoot was specifically inspired by Bruce Springsteen’s State Trooper) and movement to allow them to get weird and to express a little bit of a darker side. And who is better at tapping into themselves than Lily?! This is just a little glimpse and I absolutely love the way she fell into each look… feeling so different but also connected. I love these photos, I love Lily.
