Lindsay Mendez Instagram – 2024…you tricky, gigantic beast. We had noooooo idea what you would hold for us. But boy, we packed it in.
In January, we found out I was pregnant, while doing Merrily AND shooting American Sports Story. We celebrated every doctor appointment, and every Sunday night when I made it through another week of shows and filming. Lucy’s 3rd birthday came in April…as did @jalexbrinson and I’s wedding…on a Monday. And our honeymoon was spent at the Hudson theater the following day. (J…I still owe you one!) Then the Tony nominations and run up to the awards…where our beautiful show won the Tony, along with my incredible guys John and Dan taking theirs home. We closed in July, and we had weeks to prepare for Rubys arrival in September. And then, once we brought her home, we knew we were needing to find more space for our growing family…and decided to fit a move in before ending the year. I am wiped. And beyond grateful for this life we have made. Thank you to everyone for your support and encouragement. And thank you to my husband for being as crazy as I am and pushing to make our life just what we want it to be. 2024…you were crazy. And brought us the gift of a lifetime in our sweet Ruby.
