Il y a des personnes qu’on n’oublie pas, surtout celles qui vous ont reconnu en premier. Bernard Bistes était mon professeur de dessin au lycée, un peintre, un être incroyable, quelqu’un qui nous parlait de la vie, de notre futur et de ce que nous pouvions faire de notre existence si nous osions vivre nos rêves. Il me manque énormément, il est parti à cause du Covid… Il vivait la vie à 100 à l’heure, comme s’il savait que cette vie n’était qu’une farce et qu’après, quelque chose de plus grand nous attendait… Je n’ai plus de mots pour exprimer ce qu’il a représenté pour moi, pour ma famille. Sans lui, je ne serais pas là où je suis aujourd’hui. Merci Shane de contribuer à ce souvenir 🤍 —— There are people we never forget, especially those who recognized us first. Bernard Bistes was my art teacher in high school, a painter, an incredible human being, someone who talked to us about life, our future, and what we could do with our lives if we dared to live our dreams. I miss him immensely; he passed away due to Covid… He lived life to the fullest, as if he knew that life was just a joke and that something greater awaited us afterward… I have no more words to express what he meant to me, to my family. Without him, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Thank you, Shane, for helping keep this memory alive 🤍
