Marylou Mayniel Instagram – so last week i’ve released the album title’s track choke enough and i wanted to give it a little highlight because for these reasons ;
– it s the first demo that I ever had officialy for this new album back in 2022. Initially I wanted to craft the album around this very concept of writting dance music/ club inspired track but with a NO DRUMS policy as I like to try and find power in other ways. but i couldnt seem to create other loops as inspiring as this one, in this style, i just never matched the degree of excitement within my other sonic searches and experimentations so i canceled the concept lol
i love this synth a lot in this track cause it feels like a womb idk how to say. i love being in water so freaking much when i have anxiety crisis i just get in a bath . im looking for softness everywhere as i belive it’s miraculous .
spending time in LA largely inspired the lyrics for choke enough . this city is weird, naive and disconnected
thanks for the feedbacks so far regarding the music, it really actually does comfort me more than I would have thought. giving me a confidence back in some of my choices . Im glad Ive trusted myself and mylisteners because I really think that yall know what i mean when i mean it .
