This session was not only magical and fun (playing on instruments made out of cardboard!) but it also was a beautiful breakthrough moment for me being in a room with so much safe masculine energy. I felt protected, seen, heard, respected and appreciated.

This song came to me in solitude a few months after my Kundalini Awakening in 2018. It was an epiphany moment and I was yelling into the camera “I FREED MYSELF!!!!! I FREED MYSELF!!!!!” (No not I peed myself, thats another song;)

For the first time in my life I felt like I could communicate consciously and clearly through my art. I was learning how to transmute all this pain and rage and suffering and fear… alchemizing and neutralizing it, through feeling it all.

I felt reborn writing this song and it happened by surrendering to my soul. It also happened by allowing my inner teenager to speak her truth after being imprisoned for so long from years of abuse.

It took me a couple years to finish the lyrics because I had to uncover myself further and integrate lessons.

Thank you to the other writers on this song.. my friends @kenoak @rosenchyld I love you guys and @mikeelizondojr who produced the recorded track on my album.

And to all my fans (fanily), I remember standing in my closet singing along to the track just after I had recorded it. I had this feeling so intensely, like we were collectively unshackling ourselves and transmuting the darkness by shining so much forgiveness and compassion on it all.

This feeling that day really stuck with me and this is a way of encoding our art so that anyone who is tuning in is able to receive healing. I’m so happy to share this live version with you guys! I LOVE YOU!!!!!☺️🤰🎨🧨🌈🎶♾️
