BFFs! I’ve had 5 miscarriages and one failed round of IVF. I would’ve given anything to be able to have any of those pregnancies, or that round of IVF to go full term but they didn’t and I chose adoption.
Now I have a little girl who is extraordinary! My goodness she’s fiery. She’s brilliant. She makes me see the world in a totally different way. She is perfect. Yet- This has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done- BY FAR. Raising a human, being present and nurturing and having the resources to help her thrive. To help me thrive ahh! I had NO IDEA what it took to be a parent.
I believe it is wildly important for us to be able to choose when it’s time for us to start a family and how to start a family. I believe having autonomy over our own bodies as women, is the most importantly thing in the world !!
