Novi Brown Instagram – A little #Emmys after party moment. Gotta show up if you want something. You cannot sit at home & you can’t wait for someone to do it for you. In the morning, I was shooting a short film and then had to get myself ready for this event. I was tired, but I’m committed to making my dreams come true. Step into that room & let them know who you are and what you came for. Let them know why God brought you into their lives. It’s been a big transition year for me. People still underestimate my talent & impact. But, it’s ok – this is my story, my unique pathway & God will make it clear who is for you. It’s so kismet to be in these spaces cause I was once a bartender or server in these rooms, hoping someone would look me in the eye and SEE ME. I ran into one of my old bosses that evening too. I love a full circle moment. They are unmatched to showing you how far you’ve come. I have much further to go. Thank you for having me as your guest @ravengoodwin.
