Why do I lift?
Olympic weightlifting is more than just about the weight on the bar. It’s about the small intricacies that come together to create something that appears effortless— kinda like ballet with a barbell, finding a flow through every movement.

In cooking… where 100 details; like quality of ingredients… the right pan… salt type… and heat control can make or break a dish; weightlifting is a sum of many small things. Each precise movement adds up to a final expression of power and grace.💥

Whether in the kitchen or in the gym developing a skill inevitably entails, failing and succeeding.
It becomes about embracing the process, keeping it fun and keeping curiosity alive as you are in pursuit of mastering your craft.

That’s the human experience. 🌱

Story-time: Failed 125lbs C J at a meet a couple months ago and haven’t been able to get close to that weight in a while. To hit 130lbs feels so golden in my spirit ✨wish it could bottled 🍾 what a moment! 🥂A lesson learned is that you cannot have a shred of doubt in your mind that you are not going to make it, just BELIEVE and your body will know what to do. I set out to hit 2 PR’s and that’s what I did. 🌀
