I took to her immediately calling her Chuha..
Gave away my most favourite Thandi Chaadar to her, I wouldn’t ever sleep without it before she arrived.
I was more like a mother always protecting her.
I would let her sleep on my lap in the bus since our school was far off.
I carried her in my arms after school with both our school bags to our home on third floor. My mom found out much later when I complained of chest pain…doctor asked what I was lifting…boy she was heavy…
I punched this boy black & blue on the bus when he hit her with the bottle over a seat. I hadn’t seen that side of mine before..it was like I was suddenly possessed. This is what a sibling does to you, this is unconditional love.
We have fought like mad cats..driven our mom up the wall but when it’s time to stand by each other we have stood like a rock and always will.
Dearest sunny as we fondly call her..I love you and always will
