Pratibha Ranta Instagram – Pratibha Ranta (@pratibha_ranta) grew up in the serene mountains of Himachal Pradesh, where the towering hills were her first mentors. “The hills taught me everything,” she says. “They taught me patience, perspective, and how to dream beyond what I could see.” Life in a small village had its share of simplicity—weekends spent watching Bollywood classics on DVD, or sneaking peeks at late-night reruns on TV. “Cinema felt like magic to me. It was this beautiful, big world where anything was possible,” Pratibha recalls, describing how those early cinematic dreams would eventually take her from the quiet hills to the bright lights of Mumbai. Today on her birthday we toast to her journey, as she unfurls chapter one on the global stage.
