This year, The King’s Christmas Broadcast was filmed in the Fitzrovia Chapel, London. Formerly the chapel of Middlesex Hospital, it is now a space for quiet reflection, discovery and celebration, connecting diverse communities from all faiths or none. In 1928, His Majesty’s grandfather, King George VI, laid the foundation stone of the building. The featured Christmas tree was donated to Croydon BME Forum and Macmillan Cancer Support’s ‘Can You C Me?’ project and will be placed in the Royal Trinity Hospice, Clapham, the oldest hospice in the United Kingdom.

🎶 When the choir found out… It was a joy to invite the Inner Voices Choir to perform ‘Once in Royal David’s City’ as part of The King’s Christmas Broadcast. Conducted by Edward Watkins, the talented London-based youth choir works with inner-city state schools to improve access to first-class choral education. 📺 Footage courtesy of Sky News.
Santa Paws is coming to town! Medical Alert Assistance Dog trainee, Freddy, has ticked ‘Father Christmas visit’ off his public access training list. He has been such a good boy, recently passing his six month assessment, that we have no doubt he’s on the ‘nice’ list this year! Freddy was named by MDD Patron, Her Majesty The Queen, and in the new year will be developing his training to things like wearing his red jacket, learning to ‘retrieve,’ building his public access and trying out public transport. #medicaldetectiondogs #dogssavinglives #thenoseknows #dogs #dogsofinsta #assistancedogintraining #medicalalertassistancedog #dogsandsanta #santapaws #theroyalfamily
