Ranjini Haridas Instagram – Although briefly,it was still super fun to catch up with some of my teachers and fellow students from back in the day when I was in college .Yup we are talking about two decades ago..man how time flies!!!
I did my communicative English and was the batch of 2000-2003 @st.teresascollege.
I can quite confidentially say that this all girls institution played a huge role in shaping the woman in me to become even more confident ,self reliant and independent than I already was .It showed me I could do whatever I put my head to do and gave me the opportunities to put my money where my mouth is because it is only when opportunities are provided and chances given that one can rise to the occasion .
The principals,teachers and sisters @st.teresascollege had this magical way of sussing out students talents and pointing them in the right direction making sure that each of them were given the platform to shine whether it be in education,art ,dance,music,sports or fashion.
As someone who hated the idea of going to an all girls college in Cochin straight out of a mixed school and that too one like Choice I must say I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at STC.It is truly something I hold very close to my heart to this very day.
So when my alma mater was holding a homecoming for all of their global alumni students as part of their centenary celebrations,it was imperative that I show up because a lot of who I am today was formed within those walls under the guidance of a bunch of strong women/educators who made it their call of duty and for that I am truly blessed and forever grateful .❤️🙏🤗
