When two solo travellers meet! I met Rida in Italy while she was on her solo trip for her birthday and I was visiting Milan for a project. We met in Amalfi coast eventually and it turned out to be one of my favourites during the past 6 months of solo travelling! Rida, my time with you felt like some part my soul healed and to be honest, the travel experience was so easy and warm🥹
Things you should know about Lorenzo….especially if you love him as much as I do: 1. Lorenzo is the sweetest, cutest person ever, but he’s all about vibes. If your vibes don’t match his, it’s just not happening. 2. He’s not a phone person. Like, at all. You won’t catch him scrolling, texting, or glued to his screen…unless it’s to play chess for hours. 3. He’s a total people person. If you’re with him, he’s all in, making sure everyone’s having a good time, including himself. 4. If Lorenzo loves you, he’ll also love to irritate you. Case in point: yesterday, he scared the life out of me, and I’m still recovering from the nightmares! 5. He’s incredibly warm and makes it so easy for me to be myself around him. Here’s a clip from my second birthday trip to Bali when I turned 25! A friend gifted me this whole cleansing ritual, which included palm reading and this cool diagram thingy. I don’t really believe in it, but it was so much fun and a few things actually aligned with my personality, which was wild! After that, we explored a paddy field, visited a rice store, and did the iconic Bali swing. Looking back, it totally gives me those dreamy April love vibes!
