With a heart as wild as the untamed wilderness and thoughts as grounded as the ancient trees, I find my balance. Free-spirited adventures fuel my soul, while deep-rooted values guide my path. In harmony, these contrasting forces of being both wild & free yet conservative & reserved shape me into who I am. Wildlife has been my sanctuary, allowing me to roam free and explore new horizons without compromising my core beliefs. This journey is my treasure, filled with wonder, growth, and self-discovery. What is it about you, that makes you unique? And what is that one thing that gives the utmost joy of fulfilment? #WildAndFree #ConservativeThoughts #FreeSpirit #Individuality #SelfExpression #sadaasgreenlife #Sadaawildstories #blessedandbeyond

I always love to see tigers in monsoon greens and when the chances of seeing my favourite CM are high, how can I stop myself from making an impromptu plan! What do you think did I get him or no? I saw 5 tigers in 7 safaris & 2 out of 7 safaris were dry. Pretty good for monsoons. Btw these are just snippets from the last trip. You will see a lot more in vlogs on the YT channel Sadaa Wild Stories in coming weeks.. so do subscribe.. ☺️🙏 #tadoba #safarisinmonsoons #chotamatka #tigersoftadoba

A memory etched in black and white, a heart still longing for her colour in the wild! In memory of Maya, the Queen, who disappeared into the darkness. In the darkness, her spirit remains & the forest still whispers her name. May be she is just missing for sometime but many fear she’s probably gone forever. Maya, as her name, mysteriously lost in the wild, leaving no shadows behind.. 💔💔💔 Shot on @nikonindiaofficial Z6ii w/ 100-400mm #memories #blackandwhite #maya #mayatigress #tadoba #sadaawildlifephotography #sadaawuldstories #shotonnikon #nikonphotography #nikonindia

Classic example of “Don’t judge by the appearance”… The images above are of Aye-Aye, a lemur shrouded in mystery and maligned by ancient folklore. In Madagascar, these intelligent, fascinating primates are persecuted and hunted due to superstitions that deem them harbingers of death. Their fate is a heartbreaking testament to the destructive power of misinformation and fear. Aye-ayes may look intimidating, but they’re actually extremely gentle and harmless creatures. Their unusual features and spindly fingers belie their kind nature, making them one of the most misunderstood animals in the wild. As we gaze into the aye-aye’s haunting eyes, let us confront the devastating consequences of our actions and pledge to protect every other incredible animal in the wild before it’s too late. Like many other animals, aye-aye’s future is also in the hands of unkind humans, unfortunately so! Let us choose compassion over cruelty, and ensure their survival for generations to come. Grateful for unforgettable experiences! A huge thank you to @gliding.frog and @sachin_rai_photography for making me witness an endangered species, something truly extraordinary, exceeding all my expectations! A Tiger’s way of saying “this is mine”! #territorymarking #tigers #sadaawildlifephotography #nikonindia #sadaawildstories #wildlifephotography
Ever seen a tiger hugging a tree? ☺️ The relationship between tigers and trees is one of interdependence. The presence of tigers helps maintain ecological balance that supports tree growth and forest health and trees support this balance by providing essential resources & habitat for not just tigers but various other species, including those that tigers prey upon. By marking trees, tigers define their territory boundaries to warn other tigers about their presence & avoid conflicts with potential competitors. Tigers scratch and rub their faces on trees to leave their scent behind. They also use urine marking by depositing their urine on vertical surfaces of tree trunks. By combining urine marking with scratching and rubbing, tigers create a multi-sensory signature that helps them communicate effectively with other tigers in their territory, conveying information about their identity, sex, reproductive status and dominance. Tigers may also use their tree markings to help navigate through their territory and remember important locations. In my recent visit to Tadoba, I was truly blessed to witness this phenomenon by a young tigress Chandni, who is establishing her territory, where she has grown up with her mother Jharni. Her bright orange coat against the monsoon greens made this an even better experience! #sadaawildlifephotography #nikonphotography #sadaa #sadaawildstories #nikonindia #savetigers #tigerhuggingtree #tadoba #tigersofindia #incredibleindia #wildlife #monsoondiaries #safariinmonsoon #monsoongreens #indianwildlifephotographer #indianwildlife
