Sara Bareilles Instagram – The 2024 election was exhausting and the past few weeks have been filled with sadness, anger and confusion- but also great determination and self reflection on what I can do differently to take care of the world around me. For me, some of the most important work is continuing to show up as an ally to the people who are the most vulnerable in our community.
Black women showed up in a massive way during this election season and one way we can support them is to invest in their mental health. The Loveland Foundation is an incredible organization that was founded in 2018 by @rachel.cargle with the mission to cover the cost of therapy for Black women and girls, provide mental health resources, and invest in the professional development of BIPOC therapists. Since its inception, The Loveland Foundation has offered over 152,604 hours of vital therapy support.
