Sara Bareilles Instagram – I am not the same person as I was three days ago. This experience of #artasanoffering was profound and painful and healing and beautiful in ways I was not expecting nor prepared for. Thank you to our first class of participants. Your bravery is already changing the world. Thank you to @omegainstitute for being the space in which this essential and very human work was done. Thank you to @nicolejavannajohnson for being a leader in every possible sense of the word- you are holding so much and I am humbled and grateful to know you and call you friend. Thank you for shepherding us through this weekend. And to my sisters on stage and off- @amberrubarth and @celissemusic – I learn so much from you every time you speak. Your wisdom is endless- and thank you for holding me when it came time to fall apart. Thank God for repair.
I am wiped out but grateful and this rainbow was a gift – as was every moment of this retreat. Hard, soft, tender, triumphant, and everything in between.
