Shalini Passi Instagram – As the year winds down, the art world is looking ahead to the last major moment of the season with a week of fairs, glamorous parties, and pop-up exhibitions at Art Basel Miami Beach (ABMB). While the storied fair opens to the public on 6th December and runs through 9th December, VIPs are afforded with two days of previews to sample the most coveted artworks on offer beginning Wednesday the 4th.
This year’s selection promises to be as robust as ever with presentations from 286 premier international galleries.
Once again, exhibitors will present the highest-quality paintings, sculptures, installations, photographs, films, new media, and editioned works by rising talents and Modern and contemporary masters across Art Basel Miami Beach’s six sectors: Galleries, Kabinett, Nova, Positions, Survey, and Meridians. Welcoming its largest cohort of new exhibitors in over a decade, the show stands to be thoroughly re-invigorated, with an exceptional 34 new galleries joining the fair across all sectors and 31 exhibitors set to present in the main sector for the first time.
