She started learning the style of Bharathanatyam at the tender age of 4. She was awarded “Apoorva Bala Prathibhe” by Padmavibhushan Dr Veerendra Hegde at the age of 9, and given the Karnataka State award for exceptional achievement in the field of culture, by the Governor of Karnataka, when she was 10 years of age.
She has given dance and theatrical performances at many prestigious platforms in India as well as in countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Scotland, and the USA. She travelled around 8 cities of the United states of America with a fellow performer, Bharath Ram, receiving standing ovation at every venue.
