Tara Sharma Instagram – It is Dad #partapsharma ‘s 13th death anniversary and as mentioned many times before, I really believe loved ones are with us always and have their own ways of showing it.
This is a repost to a while ago when Daddy was posthumously felicitated at the #Voice #Fest for his work in the Voice field and being what many called him, #TheVoice of #India !
They asked me to put together a little clip for it, so here it is. Eventually hope to make a longer film on Dad as he truly was multi faceted being an author, playwright, super Dad, husband, Grandad, voice, thinker, friend, actor, he even won a National Award for this film Phir Bhi, documentary maker and more, but as this event is for his aawaz and for the younger lot in the profession who may not know as much about him, here goes. Winning awards even when not physically here to receive them. Hope you are smiling, or breaking into your trademark guffaw haaha, from up above.
Apologies for the doting daughter type post and ofcourse most people love and respect their parents so I don’t mean to make this too gloaty or mushy but as a wondeful old wise woman dear Ms Curmally said to me shortly after Dadddy passed, after condoling, she said ‘I wish your children had had longer with their Naana, they would have learnt so much.’ So I guess these #flashbacks from time to time are for them and others to know him too. Though I must admit there are lots of things I notice in our kids that seem to be thanks to Dad. Whether nature or nurture or magic! ❤️💜🧿🩷
