I then spent 2 years giving myself space to grieve, feel, and heal. (And in that time I wrote all these songs.) This has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced but music and writing has been so therapeutic in this process of healing. // The OG album contained a lot of personal stories, voicenotes, and more. This is the continuation, with some more poppy or broader feelings of loss! If you’ve been through similar loss, I hope this can help heal parts of you that felt misunderstood, or make you feel closer to those no longer here. 📝 And to my dad – I miss you and love you always. I hope you can hear the new songs up in heaven; listening on repeat like you’d always do with my YouTube videos. 🥺 Miss you and love you always! 🙏 Huge thank you to @danielfeels for producing Part II of this album!! I always have so much fun in the studio but also appreciate the dedication and detail to each song and for seeing my vision for these and making them come to life! The care and love put into this project make it so special! Capturing these emotions, articulated by the perfect instrumentation, gives a place for my dad’s legacy to forever live on. 💕 I want something that I want 🥺 I spoke this into my life: I want peace, abundance, and love. Guys what is life but whirlwind of “what is going on!?!”😅 I have realized the most powerful shift in my mind, that helps me leap forward, has all come from when I use strong self affirmation, in the morning or night, to reaffirm the woman I am, and the woman I am becoming. Yes speaking over yourself who you are, what you want, and what you are capable of. – It may seem silly to say things out loud but it’s baffling at how much we underestimate ourselves and our true power. The light, the joy, the love, the confidence; all within. So in my personal life: using affirmation has transformed my belief system and the way I see and show up in the world. It changes the lens for what I believe for myself, and that goes for any area of life. But to shift my focus from fear, to faith in what is possible all with the power of my thoughts. And it’s not some crazy secret – it’s rewiring your brain & thoughts for what you believe to be true; UNTIL you believe it to be true. – How: write down 3 empowering statements or goals, visualize how you see yourself or how you want to see yourself, & write it in the present tense. 💭 For what you think, is what you become; and you have everything within to become anything you truly set your mind to. 👊 – Test your mind, challenge yourself, push back when fears creep in. Fight for that voice inside that says you have what it takes and show you what you’re made of. Okay that’s all for my shpeel. It’s all just a fancy way of saying: believe in yourself! 🥰✨ – It’s wild cause the day after I worked on this video I had this break through clarity with a situation. Something completely left field and unexpected (a small nudge) reminded me of all the possibilities and wonder for my deepest hopes and goals in life. But it was this weight that was lifted off me like I was free to dance in my own skin, like a kid dancing in her room singing her favorite song. No anxiety’s or pressure. To believe that I have all I need to be content to thrive in the steps TOWARD the goals, not in the arrival but in the transformative experience to get there.
