In January 1988, Tina Turner gave what was to become one of the most iconic performances at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as part of her Break Every Rule Tour. Performing in front of 180,000 adoring fans, Tina made history for having the largest paying audience for a single artist at the time. To celebrate the electrifying spirit of this show, the ‘Live In Rio’ collection offers a doorway back to Rio, to the music, and to Tina herself. It’s a collection which embodies the city that showed such an outpouring of love and admiration for the Queen of Rock n’ Roll.
