Shakthisree Gopalan Instagram – Circa March 2020.. about one week before the pandemic lockdown – @gopalash was heading back to the states and I was heading to a recording session that night (lyric book at hand).. see off at the airport with mamma bear – bittersweet.. I love taking pictures but I suck at sharing them with friends (I get a lot of beef for this-rightfully so :P) also suck at sharing stuff on social media :P…nand then I end up seeing them years later randomly and they bring back waves of emotions and memories… making this post now so I can revisit this memory.. we didn’t know the pandemic was about to hit us back then.. how the world was going to change.. what everyone in the world was about to go through.. how the paths of our lives were about to unfold.. it’s crazy to think how much can happen in 3 years.. how some things can change so much and how some things don’t change at all.. when we were kids my bother used to make a nest with pillows – we used to pretend to be birds and he would fly out of the nest and into the kitchen and bring me back biscuits 🙂 and I would sit there in the nest waiting for him to come back 🙂
